Most often when a guitar has its headstock broken it can be glued back together successfully. For a few examples of successful reglues see the Headstock Reglues page. Unfortunately some guitars are not so lucky. The good news is that almost any headstock break can be repaired by grafting on an entirely new headstock. To get an idea of what kind of break requires a graft, check out the Headstock Gallery. To see the graft process in detail, have a look at the Headstock Grafts gallery.
